He said that he was getting tired of not getting enough sleep from running his restaurant, so he sold the property to some random Chinese family. If you know him personally, he sometimes delivers some to you when he feels like making it.

This all looks delicious, It must take an experienced chef to make it, and it looks very natural too. The guys from my Health club always pick on me for snacking on junk food, and tell me about the benefits of organic meals. I guess healthy food can look good and taste great too.

Canada is getting attention now from the world stage, i would however like to see one of Vancouver's restaurants on the list. At the same time, i look forward to the list every year, and consider it an "authority on the best retaurants out there".

Unfortunately, Mr. Sun has changed and the Taiwanese beef noodle soup no longer tastes the same. May I ask, where can I find the best Taiwanese beef noodle soup .. now that the best is no longer available?

I actually have been to Lion City. It was a so-so ok experience for me.. nothing particularly memorable, but a good place when I'm in the area.

a friend sent me this article. if mississauga is still within your backyard then check out this place called Lion City. i myself have searched out this comfort dish and so far i've found the one served in this Singaporean owned establishment the best i've come across so far.

if you where to other other dishes stick to the malay / indian ones, the thai stuff is so so. also, the place doesn't exactly exude ambiance nor should you expect great front of the house service but don't let that put you off and if you get a chance talk to the wife who is also the chef and cook in the kitchen (she is definitely very personable).

I stopped by to get a sandwich, they had very bad service. they kept yelling and yelling and looked me down. i really dislike the employees there. they didnt respect me and all i wanted was a sandwich, i will not come back here

Then I guess the time I had it, it wasn't at it "normal" standard.
Because the dish I had, rice was just plain rice, chicken was so bland that I thought I ordered flavorless tofu.
and without the hot sauce and sweet thick soy sauce, it's just sucks.

I guess I should love it as NO salt is good for anyone with high blood pressure? :P

I did ask them at one time, that it's all make fresh at the back.
as they have to let it cool after deep fried, each batch consisted of 100 samosas.
(why did I ask and why would I believe them it's not "re-heated"? because the last time I bought some at new year's eve, few people in front of me bought in multiples of 100's, and they have to wait for like 30mins to get there order.)

if you notice the Banh Mi bag, you would see that they have another location in Vaughan. (I guess it's near Vaughan Mills?)
